APPLIED MATHEMATICS SYMPOSIUM

SOCAMS (Southern California Applied Mathematics Symposium) is a conference that aims to bring together researchers from universities throughout Southern California, working in all areas of applied mathematics, for a one-day exchange of ideas in an informal and collaborative atmosphere. It is intended that the symposium showcases research work by young faculty, post-docs, and graduate students as well as inspirational talks from selected faculty members. The event (including breakfast and lunch) is free for these participants. Registration is required for all attendees.

SOCAMS 2022 will be held at Harvey Mudd College in Claremont, CA. The event will be held in the R. Michael Shanahan Center for Teaching and Learning and adjoining courtyard. Plenary sessions will be held in Shanahan room 1430, with parallel sessions held in Shanahan room 1480, Shanahan room 2460, Shanahan room 2454, and Shanahan room 2450. During breaks, coffee and light snacks, and lunch will be served in the courtyard.

15-minute contributed talks will be selected by the scientific committee from those that opt-in. Otherwise, participants are welcome to present a poster.
